About Mopco

Contact

The Mop & Bucket Co offers three basic things. Performances, of course. Comedy in Albany hasn't been the same since Mopco hit town! Check our Shows page for news about the next comedy, theatresports, or other improv show near you! We don't do stand up comedy. But we do stand up, sit down, sing, dance, sit, roll over, you name it! But we don't stop there.

We also offer classes, as well as special programs and workshops which are designed for performers and non-performers alike. Why non-performers? Well, improvisers learn to make friends with emotion – their own and others, be brave enough to tell the truth, and to commit to strong objectives. They learn to make themselves look good by making their partner look good. And these skills apply onstage, and off! So we see our classes as tools for personal development.

Our tools for business are offered through our corporate entertainment and through our partnership with our sister company, Koppett+Co., in developing unique training solutions for business. If you are interested in this aspect of our work, please call Kat Koppett at (518)847-9882.

I have seen improv before and I’m sure you have too, but THESE actors are ready for prime-time. Have you ever watched a performance so brave that you wanted to shake the performer’s hand or kiss her cheek after the show? That’s how I felt… ----Susan Arbetter, WMHT TV
