Youth Improv 101 A partnership with Guilderland Music Academy

Get comfortable on stage, boost your confidence, and better express yourself through the art of improvisation! In this course, you'll have fun learning fundamental improv skills like listening, teamwork, and building on existing ideas. Create characters and scenes on the spot, all while learning popular improv games from shows like Whose Line Is It Anyway?

Classes are from 1-3 PM starting 9/29 through 11/17: Class Showcase Performance: 11/24 (time and location TBD)

Meet the Teacher: Jason Burke

Jason began his improv career in 1995 as a cast member of ComedySportz San Jose. In addition to performing in shows and teaching classes, Jason also ran CSz San Jose's successful high school program for several years. In 2013, Jason became the first Artistic Director of ComedySportz Boston, still running weekly shows and classes in its 10th year of operation. Now a resident of NY's Capital Region, Jason performs with the Mopco Improv Theater in Schenectady.
